This series connects many elements of my creative journey so far… incorporating my fiber art roots by using reclaimed upholstery fabric as the substrate, and building the image with layers of spray paint, acrylic, and sometimes additional materials such as metal leaf. The image emerges, layer by layer, bit by bit, using elements with a history both inherent and evolved.
