Tahoe Picnic Rock

Picnic Rock is one of my favorite views, from the ridge above my little town of Kings Beach in Lake Tahoe.  I love the way that the mountains layer into the distance, ringing a mirror of blue water.

This is one of several images soon to be featured by the League to Save Lake Tahoe in a “thank you” card series for donors who are supporting efforts to Keep Tahoe Blue.
