About This Project

Light plays on the surface of the water, reflecting so many colors, creating ever-moving shapes… I like to play with the relationships of those colors and forms, sometimes emphasizing, de-emphasizing or otherwise changing them to bring about the feeling that I’m going for, which in this instance was the visual reference to fabric, and how the surface, with the right reflective qualities, loses its transparency and starts to look like a single, undulating layer.

Acrylic and spray paint on canvas.
