Tahoe Summer Blue

“Summer Blue” was inspired by those amazing Tahoe days, hiking the high ridges.  This painting is my translation of an original photo image taken by Justin Majeczky, used with permission.  It represented so well the feeling I feel when standing on a ridgetop, appreciating the amazing view of my home, breeze playing across my face…. I couldn’t improve upon the composition, but merely do my best to translate those feelings into paint.

This is one of several images featured by the League to Save Lake Tahoe in a “thank you” card series for donors who are supporting efforts to Keep Tahoe Blue.
