Spring Trees: Aspens

Spring Trees is a mixed acrylic media painting on canvas.

Aspens are the essence of community… individual trees that are all interconnected by the same root system and though they look like separate entities are in truth biologically one tree.  New growth, old growth, in symbiotic support, growing in cooperation with one another, sometimes one tree physically supporting another that has fallen… allowing the grove to become a stronger entity as a result.
